Niki André is the daughter of a jazz musician who has been singing and acting since she was a child and once worked as a studio background vocalist.  As a FACTOR award-winning Artist (FACTOR Demo Award 2007), Nikiʼs format-defying blend of Hip Hop, Jazz and Soul has attracted fans worldwide. Her debut release, First Light, caught spins at over 150 stations and shows - from Australia to North America and all across Europe - gaining accolades from hosts and DJs around the globe. This self-proclaimed diva has coined the term "Dirty Jazz" to describe her sultry, emotional and improvisational sound.  

Niki's broadcast exposure includes airplay on Canada's most listened to morning radio show Metro Morning (CBC Radio One) as well as appearances on the Women's Television Network (WTN)ʼs, Girltalk series, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC)ʼs Big City Small World (Feature Spotlight Interview) and CKUT 90.3ʼs Soul Perspectives (Feature Interview).   She is a published writer and ACTRA affiliated. Past shows include live performances at Revival, Trane, Scwaltz Fest ʻ08, Ciao Edies, The Drake Hotel and The Urban Music Association of Canada's Future Soul Showcase.
